Katy Perry’s “Never Really Over” did not launch until the sixth day of the May 26-June 1 tracking period, but it still received a substantial amount of airplay.

The airplay yields a Top 25 debut on the Mediabase hot adult contemporary radio chart and a Top 30 entry on the pop radio listing.

More specifically, “Never Really Over” starts at #24 on the Hot AC listing. It earns the impressive debut mark thanks to its 962 spins.

Credited with 2,224 pop radio spins during the May 26-June 1 tracking period, “Never Really Over” meanwhile starts at #29 on the pop chart.

“Never Really Over,” which benefited from hourly first day airplay support from dozens of stations, is the top new entry on both charts.
