Late Thursday night, Katy Perry released her new single “Never Really Over” on digital platforms.

Capitol concurrently issued the song to radio, where it is due to receive big opening day support. Beginning later this morning (if not already), many pop stations will play the new single every other hour (if not every hour).

Representing her first solo single since the “Witness” era, “Never Really Over” interpolates heavily from the critically acclaimed Dagny’s “Love You Like That.” Perry’s track officially credits Dagny and her co-writers.

“I am BEYOND stoked to be part of this baby,” wrote Dagny in an Instagram caption about the song.
