MONSTA X Signs Deal With Epic Records; “This Is Like A Dream Come True”

Epic will handle Monsta X’s English recordings and distribution outside Korea.

As MONSTA X prepares for its “we are here” tour, news comes that the Korean group has inked a high-profile record deal.

Per a Tuesday press release, MONSTA X has signed an agreement with Epic Records.

The deal will cover MONSTA X’s English-language recordings, as well as worldwide distribution outside Korea.

“We are thrilled to join the Epic Family alongside some of the artists we admire the most. This is like a dream come true and we still can’t believe that this is happening to us. We can’t thank our monbebe enough for their endless support and for making everything possible,” said MONSTA X.

“K-pop has indelibly impacted the global conversation and influenced culture everywhere,” added Sylvia Rhone of Epic Records. “At the top of that conversation, you’ll find MONSTA X. They’re ushering the genre into the future with an original style befitting of their experience, passion, and diverse influences. We’re honored to welcome them to the Epic Records family.”

In addition to the upcoming tour dates, MONSTA X will be performing at this year’s iHeartRadio Music Festival. The group is also working on new music, which the Epic press release teases will be available soon.
