Whether one focuses on the linear television number or the total same-night viewership, Sunday’s “Game Of Thrones” delivered series high numbers.

According to the network, Sunday’s “Game Of Thrones” finale drew 13.6 million live+same-day TV viewers. The number tops the 12.48 million figure drawn by last week’s episode to rank as a series high.

Not simply a series high, this week’s viewership figure represents an all-time record for HBO. The season four premiere of “The Sopranos,” the previous record-holder, drew 13.4 million live+same-day viewers.

With same-night HBO GO and HBO NOW streams included, Sunday’s finale drew a series high 19.3 million viewers. Last week’s episode, the previous record-holder, reached 18.4 million same-night viewers.
