Halsey’s “Nightmare” garnered a considerable amount of opening day attention at pop radio.

According to Mediabase, the new single had received 1,578 pop radio spins by the end of Friday, May 17. The count positions “Nightmare” at #28 on Mediabase’s building/real-time pop chart, which ranks songs based on the first six days of the May 12-18 tracking period.

“Nightmare” notably received hourly first day airplay from numerous pop stations. Although it will not receive support of that caliber on Saturday, it will have no trouble remaining comfortably inside the Top 40 (if not Top 30) as this week’s pop chart goes final.

In terms of Halsey solo singles, “Nightmare” is the follow-up to the chart-topping “Without Me.” The artist also hit #1 as part of the “Eastside” collaboration with Benny Blanco and Khalid. She meanwhile appears on BTS’ current radio single “Boy With Luv.”
