Friday afternoon, CBS shared more details about the upcoming appearance.

It specifically noted that the superstar group will appear for both an interview and performance on the episode.

The network has not yet confirmed whether there will be another guest on the broadcast. But even if another guest is announced, it seems pretty clear BTS will be the episode’s focal point.

The biggest boy band in the world is headed to America’s #1 late-night talk show.

Confirmation came Thursday that BTS will perform on the May 15 edition of “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert.” The performance will mark BTS’ first time appearing on the late-night talk show.

Among the “big three” late-night programs, “The Late Show With Colbert” routinely draws the largest household audience.

The upcoming “Late Show” gig marks the third recent US TV performance for BTS. To support its recent “Map Of THe Soul: Persona,” the group also took the stage on “Saturday Night Live” and the Billboard Music Awards.

The group additionally took center stage in a segment on “CBS Sunday Morning.”
