Given that it involves two of the biggest stars in Latin music (and proven draws on YouTube), it should come as no surprise that Becky G & Maluma’s “La Respuesta” video enjoyed a big first week.
The music video generated 31.7 million views during the April 19-25 tracking period, which marked its first full week of tracking. The impressive count earns “La Respuesta” #7 on this week’s Global YouTube Music Videos Chart**.
“La Respuesta” meanwhile ranks as the chart’s #2 debut**, trailing only Lil Dicky’s “Earth.”
The release of the video helps Maluma soar seven places to #10 on the Global YouTube Artists chart. Becky G concurrently rises twenty places to #45.
**Editor’s Note: The video for TWICE’s “Fancy” looks to have received more views this week, but it does not currently appear on the YouTube chart. If YouTube corrects the issue, it would bump “La Respuesta” down to #8 on the overall chart and #3 among newcomers.
