Based on early data, Khalid’s “Free Spirit” could be headed for #1 on the upcoming US album chart.

According to Hits Daily Double, the album is expected to sell 50-65K pure US copies during its first week of release. The inclusion of units from track sales and streams should yield a unit total in the 145-165K range.

Such a bow would likely be enough for #1 on the weekly consumption chart, resulting in Khalid’s first chart-topping album.

Like many recent albums, “Free Spirit” is benefiting from a ticket-album bundle. Albums redeemed as part of the bundle count toward the sales total.
