BTS embodies the notion of a worldwide phenomenon, while Halsey is the voice behind recent pop smashes “Without Me” and “Eastside.”
It should therefore come as no surprise that the teaser trailer for their new collaboration “Boy With Luv” (officially credited as BTS featuring Halsey) is generating considerable interest.
Released mid-day Sunday, the brief clip amassed over 1.3 million YouTube likes in its first hour. “#BoyWithLuv” and “Halsey” meanwhile rank as the top two worldwide trending topics on Twitter.
Featuring both Halsey and the members of BTS, the trailer announces a 5:00AM EDT release date for Friday, April 12. The song will appear on BTS’ eagerly anticipated new release “Map Of The Soul: Persona.”
