Lil Nas X’s “Old Town Road” enjoyed a mammoth Friday on the US Spotify streaming platform.
According to Spotify Charts, the original version was the day’s most-streamed song in the US. It received an impressive 2.353 million US Spotify streams.
The new remix featuring Billy Ray Cyrus also had an impressive day. It earned 1.814 million streams, which is enough for #3 on the platform. Billie Eilish’s hit “bad guy” lands between the two songs with 2.277 million streams.
The two “Old Town Road” versions thus combined for about 4.17 million US streams.
— Both tracks also performed well on a global basis. The original “Old Town Road” earns #3 on the daily Global chart with 4.123 million, while the remix takes #20 with 2.403 million.
