Ariana Grande’s recent smash “thank u, next” spend seven weeks atop the Billboard Hot 100.

This week, follow-up single “7 rings” surpasses that reign. It scores an eighth week as America’s hottest overall song.

The Hot 100 ranks songs from all genres based on sales, streams and radio airplay. While “7 rings” does not claim #1 on any individual chart, it is a strong performer in all three columns.

Post Malone’s “Wow.” improves to #2 this week, while his Swae Lee collaboration “Sunflower” holds at #3. Halsey’s “Without Me” drops two places to #4, and Cardi B & Bruno Mars’ “Please Me” holds at #5.
