Blake Shelton’s new single “God’s Country” launched on digital platforms late Thursday/early Friday.

By late Friday morning, it had ascended to #1 on the all-genre US iTunes song sales chart.

“God’s Country” remains in the pinnacle position as of press time at 9:55AM ET Friday. Lady Gaga & Bradley Cooper’s “Shallow,” which previously occupied the #1 spot, now sits at #2.

“God’s Country” is receiving ample opening day support at country radio, where it officially premiered at 6AM ET.

It is one of two new superstar country singles to hit the market this week. Luke Bryan’s “Knockin’ Boots,” the other, is currently #9 on iTunes.
