Ellie Goulding, Diplo & Swae Lee’s “Close To Me” Heading Top 3 At Pop Radio

“Close To Me” should reach a new peak on this week’s pop radio chart.

Barring an unlikely late-week collapse, Ellie Goulding & Diplo’s “Close To Me (featuring Swae Lee)” will reach the Top 3 on this week’s Mediabase pop radio airplay chart.

“Close To Me” received 6,065 pop spins during the first three days of the March 24-30 tracking period. Up 3% from the count at this point last week, the tally slots “Close To Me” at #3 on Mediabase’s building chart.

“Close To Me” does not maintain a huge lead over Benny Blanco, Halsey & Khalid’s “Eastside” (6,058, -5%), but it has the clear momentum advantage. As such, it should widen its lead as the chart goes final.

With no other imminent threats from below, “Close To Me” should have no trouble retaining its position through the close of tracking.
