Ellie Goulding & Diplo’s “Close To Me (featuring Swae Lee)” crosses a key checkpoint on this week’s Mediabase pop radio airplay chart.

The collaboration officially enters the Top 5. More specifically, it jumps from #7 to #4.

“Close To Me” received ~12,994 spins during the March 10-16 tracking period. The count tops last week’s mark by a healthy 711 spins.

That increase positions “Close To Me” as the #2 gainer inside the Top 10; only Khalid’s #7 “Better” posted a better spin count this week.

Not simply successful at pop, “Close To Me” improves to #6 on this week’s Mediabase Hot AC chart.
