New opening week projections have emerged for Maren Morris’ “GIRL.”

According to Hits Daily Double, the album is now expected to sell 24-27K pure US copies this week. With units from track sales and streams included, Hits projects an opening week consumption tally in the 43-47K range.

The publication initially projected 15-20K in pure sales and 30-40K in first-week units.

Should the consumption projection hold, “GIRL” will likely be looking at a #4 or #5 debut on this week’s US album chart.

“GIRL” is the follow-up to Morris’ debut album, which started with 37K in pure sales and 45K in total units.
