As of Sunday morning, Glenn Close was the clear favorite to win the Oscar for Best Actress. Bovada, as an example, had Close’s odds of winning at a strong -650.

The oddsmakers did not get this one right. The Oscar instead went to “The Favourite” star Olivia Colman.

Colman received the award right around 11PM ET.

In addition to Close, Colman beat out Lady Gaga, Yalitza Aparicio and Melissa McCarthy for the coveted trophy.

As the ceremony nears its conclusion, only two awards remain: Best Director and Best Picture. “The Favourite” is up for both.
