Dua Lipa Receives Grammy Award For Best New Artist

Dua Lipa takes home the “Big Four” trophy.

Earlier Sunday, Dua Lipa won the Best Dance Recording Grammy for “Electricity.”

Sunday night, she learned that she had also won one of the “Big Four” trophies.

Moments after performing alongside St. Vincent, Lipa received the Grammy for Best New Artist.

Lipa beat out HER, Luke Combs, Bebe Rexha, Greta Van Fleet, Jorja Smith, Chloe X Halle, and Margo Price for the trophy.

HER was the oddsmakers’ favorite to win. Lipa had the second-best odds of winning.

Originally set to end at 11:30PM ET, the Grammy ceremony is still underway. The awards for Record and Album of the Year have yet to be revealed.
