The first of this year’s “Big Four” Grammy Awards has been distributed.

Childish Gambino’s chart-topping hit “This Is America” was named the winner for Song Of The Year. The award goes to songwriters Donald “Childish Gambino” Glover and Ludwig Göransson.

The “This Is America” win constitutes a mild upset. Lady Gaga & Bradley Cooper’s “Shallow” was a slight favorite in the category.

Along with “This Is America” and “Shallow,” the category included “All The Stars,” “In My Blood,” “Boo’d Up,” “God’s Plan,” “The Joke,” and “The Middle.”
