“Dancing With A Stranger” makes big gains at its two key formats.

Sam Smith & Normani’s “Dancing With A Stranger” blasts into the Top 30 at both hot adult contemporary and pop radio this week.

Up nine places, the collaboration earns #26 on the Mediabase Hot AC chart. It concurrently rises four places to #27 on the pop listing.

“Dancing With A Stranger” received 690 Hot AC spins during the January 20-26 tracking period. This week’s spin count tops last week’s mark by 385 plays. Only one song (Pink’s “A Million Dreams”) posted a greater airplay gain.

The single meanwhile received 3,453 tracking period plays at pop. Its increase of 1,625 ranks as the format’s #3 gain.
