While the race for #1 on this week’s Billboard Country Airplay chart remains very close, confirmation has arrived regarding the Mediabase country radio singles chart.

Dierks Bentley’s “Burning Man (featuring Brothers Osborne)” tops this week’s listing.

Up two places from last week’s position, “Burning Man” seizes the throne from Thomas Rhett’s “Sixteen.”

Not simply the leader for chart points, “Burning Man” ranks as the Mediabase country panel’s most played song for the January 20-26 tracking period. It received 8,417 spins (+929).

“Burning Man” did not, however, take first place for audience this week. That honor instead belongs to Jason Aldean’s “Girl Like You,” which received 52.23 million audience impressions. “Burning Man,” the second-most heard song, garnered 51.85 million impressions.

“Girl Like You” nonetheless holds at #2 on the overall chart.

Scotty McCreery’s “This Is It” rises two spots to #3, while the aforementioned “Sixteen” drops to #4. Down one place, Dustin Lynch’s “Good Girl” grabs #5.
