Ella Mai’s “Trip” Enters Top 40 At Pop Radio; Post Malone, CHVRCHES, George Ezra Top 50

Ella Mai’s former urban and rhythmic radio #1 “Trip” debuts on this week’s Mediabase pop radio airplay chart.

The song, which was below last week’s chart at #43, enters this week’s listing at #40.

“Trip” received 903 spins during the December 30-January 5 tracking period, besting last week’s mark by 135.

— As “Trip” makes the Top 40, three songs move into the Top 50.

Played 502 times during the tracking period (+407), Post Malone’s “Wow.” ranks as the Mediabase pop panel’s #47 song. It was #52 last week.

Up four places, CHVRCHES’ “Miracle” takes #48 this week. The alternative crossover received 434 spins (+56).

George Ezra’s “Shotgun,” which received 423 plays (+15), ascends two spots to #49.
