Ava Max’s “Sweet But Psycho” opens 2019 where it ended 2018: at #1 on the Official UK Singles Chart.

“Sweet But Psycho” continues its reign thanks to another strong week of UK sales and streams.

With holiday songs falling out of key positions, other “current” singles enjoy big gains this week. Ariana Grande’s “thank u, next” rises three places to #2, while Post Malone & Swae Lee’s “Sunflower” ascends sixteen spots to #3.

Up eleven places, Mark Ronson’s “Nothing Breaks Like A Heart (featuring Miley Cyrus)” takes #4.

Post also appears at #5 courtesy of “Wow,” which enjoys a gain from #52 following its first full week in the market.

Also on this week’s chart: Zara Larsson’s “Ruin My Life” makes its first Top 10 appearance, rising twenty-six places to #9. It had previously gone as high as #11.
