Ratings: “Grown-ish” Rises From Last Year’s Finale, Trails Last Year’s Premiere

Freeform’s “Grown-ish” returned with a two-episode season premiere.

Wednesday’s “Grown-ish” season premiere performed as most likely expected. It outperformed last spring’s first season finale but trailed last January’s series premiere.

According to live+same-day data posted by Showbuzz, Wednesday’s 8PM broadcast drew a 0.28 adults 18-49 rating and averaged 0.67 million overall viewers. The 8:30PM follow-up scored a 0.24 in the demo and 0.56 million in overall viewership.

The inaugural season concluded with a softer 0.17 rating and 0.40 million viewer sum on March 28, 2018.

It nonetheless started with far stronger numbers. The 8PM series premiere drew a 0.40 rating and 0.95 million viewers on January 3, 2018. The immediate follow-up scored a 0.39 and 0.92 million.
