Chloe x Halle, Kelly Clarkson, SZA, Janelle Monae, More Performing On CBS’ Aretha Franklin Tribute

Aretha Franklin will be the focus of this year’s GRAMMY special.

In conjunction with the GRAMMY Awards, CBS will again film a concert tribute to an iconic artist.

The late Aretha Franklin will be the focus of this year’s special.

Entitled “Aretha!® A Grammy Celebration For The Queen Of Soul,” the concert event will be taped on January 13 at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. The resulting broadcast will air on CBS later in 2019.

Tyler Perry will host the event, while Yolanda Adams, Shirley Caesar, Alessia Cara, Kelly Clarkson, Common, Celine Dion, Jennifer Hudson, Alicia Keys, John Legend, Patti LaBelle, BeBe Winans, Brandi Carlile, Chloe X Halle, H.E.R., Janelle Monáe and SZA will perform. Additional talent and details will be revealed in the weeks ahead.
