Five semifinalists from this season of “The Voice” — two of whom will be competing in this week’s finale — appear on the latest Billboard Emerging Artists chart.

Finalists Kirk Jay and Chevel Shepherd lead the way at #17 and #20, respectively.

Semifinalists Reagan Strange (#33), MaKenzie Thomas (#49) and Sarah Grace (#50) also appear on the listing.

Kirk Jay is celebrating his third week on the chart, while MaKenzie Thomas is making her first appearance. The other artists are appearing for a second time.

Billboard’s Emerging Artists chart ranks the top artists who have yet to score major hits on the key Billboard album or song charts. Like the Artist 100, it accounts for album sales, song consumption and social media activity.

In this case, the positions are primarily attributable to sales of the aforementioned artists’ semifinal recordings.
