Ariana Grande’s “thank u, next” will officially enter the Top 10 on this week’s Mediabase pop radio chart.
The smash hit single received 8,369 spins during the first six days of the December 2-8 tracking period. Up a whopping 32% from the count at this point last week, the tally slots “thank u, next” at #10 on Mediabase’s building/real-time chart.
As it does not face an imminent threat from below, “thank u, next” should have no trouble retaining its position as the chart goes final.
A rapid riser, “thank u, next” is only in its fifth week on the chart.
“thank u, next” will give Grande two songs in the current Top 10. “Breathin,” her previous single, will hold at #3 on this week’s chart.
