The reigning #1 song at alternative radio rises to #1 on this week’s Mediabase hot adult contemporary radio chart.

Panic! At The Disco’s “High Hopes,” that song, rises two places from last week’s position. It seizes the crown from 5 Seconds Of Summer’s “Youngblood,” which enjoyed a two-week stint at #1.

“High Hopes” received ~5,859 spins during the November 25-December 1 tracking period. This week’s count tops last week’s mark by 337 plays.

The aforementioned “Youngblood” takes #2 this week with ~5,609 spins (-132). Maroon 5’s “Girls Like You (featuring Cardi B)” slips one place to #3 with ~5,426 spins (-144), while a play count of ~4,742 (-182) lifts Imagine Dragons’ “Natural” one spot to #4.

Down one place, lovelytheband’s “Broken” takes #5 with ~4,628 (-646).

— In addition to ruling at alternative and hot adult contemporary, “High Hopes” sits at #2 on the pop radio chart. It may hit #1 as soon as this coming week.
