BTS’ “Mic Drop” and “IDOL” just received new digital song certifications in the United States.

According to the RIAA, “Mic Drop” attained platinum status on November 9, 2018. The award confirms 1 million in US units, with each unit equal to 1 paid download or 150 streams.

“IDOL” concurrently went gold, signifying 500,000 in units.

— Along with receiving the new song certifications, BTS picked up a gold album certification for “Love Yourself: Answer.”

Also issued on November 9, the award confirms 500,000 in US album units. An album unit is equal to 1 album sale, 10 track sales or 1500 track streams.
