BLACKPINK also appears on this week’s chart.

The arrival of her solo single “SOLO” thrusts BLACKPINK member JENNIE onto this week’s Billboard Emerging Artists chart.

Jennie takes #32 on this week’s listing, which ranks the top artists who have yet to have major hits on the key Billboard charts.

Like Billboard’s Artist 100, the Emerging Artists listing ranks acts based on factors like album sales, song consumption and social media activity.

In this case, the commercial activity stems from the aforementioned “SOLO.”

BLACKPINK, which continues to enjoy an elevated profile, also appears on this week’s chart. The group takes #25 on the Emerging Artists listing, up six places from last week’s position.
