Chris Stapleton’s “Broken Halos” Named Song Of The Year At CMA Awards

“Broken Halos” took home the coveted Song of the Year trophy.

“Broken Halos,” which became Chris Stapleton’s first country radio #1, just received a major award.

The song was named “Song Of The Year” at the 2018 CMA Awards.

Written by Stapleton and Mike Henderson, “Broken Halos” beat out Sam Hunt’s “Body Like A Back Road,” Jason Aldean’s “Drowns The Whiske,” Chris Janson’s “Drunk Girl,” and Dan + Shay’s “Tequila.”

Stapleton is up for more key awards tonight, including Single of the Year, Male Vocalist of the Year, Album of the Year, and Entertainer of the Year.
