The CMA Award winner for Song of the Year is also the winner for Single of the Year.

Chris Stapleton’s “Broken Halos” is that dual-winner. Stapleton learned of the victory moments ago during the 2018 CMA Awards ceremony.

“Broken Halos” beat out Midland’s “Drinkin Problem,” Bebe Rexha’s “Meant To Be (featuring Florida Georgia Line),” Jason Aldean’s “Drowns The Whiskey (featuring Miranda Lambert),” and Dan + Shay’s “Tequila” for the coveted prize.

Stapleton is already having a big night, and it could get bigger. The acclaimed artist is also up for Male Vocalist of the Year, Album of the Year, and Entertainer of the Year.
