Andrea Bocelli’s new “Si” is a strong contender for #1 on this week’s US album charts.

According to Hits Daily Double, “Si” should sell 109-123K pure US copies this week. With units from track sales and streams included, it may generate 110-125K in total first-week consumption.

Barring surprise releases or developments, the pure sales total should earn “Si” #1 on the Billboard Top Album Sales chart. The consumption figure should be enough for a #1 bow on the Billboard 200.

Should the forecast hold, “Si” will become Bocelli’s first #1 album on the Billboard 200.
