In the lead-up to the upcoming midterm elections, MTV has been running a “+1 the Vote” campaign. That campaign will include a function on election night.
MTV will be holding an election afterparty at Miami Dade College on Tuesday, November 6. Set to run from 7-10PME T, the event will be the “largest youth-focused election party in the country.”
MTV says that Lauren Jauregui, Fat Joe, PRETTYMUCH and DJ Nasty will perform.
As part of the campaign, MTV News will also continue rolling out election-related videos. These videos will include names like Macklemore, Chloe x Halle, and Jauregui discussing the importance of the midterm elections.
“+1 The Vote” will also be rolling out a new series of Spanish-language public service announcements.
