OneRepublic’s “Connection” and John Mayer’s “New Light” are poised to earn Top 10 positions on this week’s Mediabase hot adult contemporary radio chart.
“Connection” received 1,689 spins during the first four days of the October 14-20 tracking period. Up 9% from the count at this point last week, the tally slots “Connection” at #9 on the building/real-time Hot AC chart.
“New Light” directly follows at #10 on the building chart. It received 1,629 spins (+6%) during the aforementioned four-day window.
As they do not face imminent threats from below, neither song should struggle to retain its Top 10 position through the close of tracking.
