LANY’s new “Malibu Nights” arrives on some of this week’s Billboard charts. Interest in the album, meanwhile, propels the band onto the Billboard Emerging Artists listing.

“Malibu Nights” starts at #21 on Billboard Top Album Sales (pure sales) and #36 on the overall Billboard 200 (album sales + track sales + track streams). It also takes #3 on the genre-specific Alternative Albums chart and #17 on the format-specific Digital Albums listing.

Based on album sales, song consumption and social media activity, LANY takes #11 on the Billboard Emerging Artists chart. The chart ranks the top artists that have yet to score major hits on key Billboard charts.
