As October approaches, NBC confirms news of an upcoming fall TV special.

The network announced plans to air “A Very Wicked Halloween: Celebrating 15 Years on Broadway” on Monday, October 29.

Celebrating the show’s fifteenth year on Broadway, the special will feature original “Wicked” stars Kristin Chenoweth and Idina Menzel as hosts and performers.

Ariana Grande, Pentatonix and the current Broadway “Wicked” company are also set to perform during the one-hour special, which will air at 10PM ET/PT on the aforementioned date. More special guests will reportedly be announced at a later date.

“‘Wicked’ is a blockbuster musical playing all over the world and still selling out night after night after 15 years on Broadway, and we’re thrilled to be partnering with Emmy and Tony-winning producer Marc Platt and the entire ‘Wicked’ team to celebrate the enduring success of this show,” says Doug Vaughn of NBC. “We’re especially excited to have Idina Menzel and Kristin Chenoweth reunited along with big guest stars in front of an audience – in costume hopefully – to help us celebrate the Halloween season.”
