“Youngblood” already ranks as 5 Seconds Of Summer’s biggest hit at US pop radio.

This week, it may become the band’s first Top 5 on the Mediabase pop radio airplay chart.

“Youngblood” received 12,121 spins during the first six days of the September 9-15 tracking period. Up 11% from the count at this point last week, the tally slots “Youngblood” at #5 on Mediabase’s building chart.

While it does not possess a big spin lead over Cardi B, Bad Bunny & J Balvin’s building #6 “I Like It” (12,034 spins), “Youngblood” does have a clear momentum advantage. Whereas “Youngblood” is up 10.8% from last week’s mark, “I Like It” is down 9.8%.

Assuming they maintain similar trajectories on Saturday, “Youngblood” will end the week as the #5 song.
