Ahead of the season fifteen premiere, NBC has already revealed the coaching panel for season sixteen of “The Voice.”

According to a network announcement, Blake Shelton, Adam Levine and Kelly Clarkson will all be returning to their red chairs. The fourth coach will, however, be a newcomer.

It will be John Legend.

The acclaimed entertainer recently won an Emmy award for “Jesus Christ Superstar,” thus becoming a rare “EGOT” (Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, Tony) winner.

“I’m thrilled to join the coaches of ‘The Voice.’ I’ve been a guest and mentor on the show multiple times and I’m so excited to discover talented singers and help them make the most of their gift. I hope the world is ready for #TeamJL,” said Legend.
