Based on its early performance, Paul McCartney’s “Egypt Station” should be the top new entry on this week’s US album charts.

According to Hits Daily Double, “Egypt Station” is projected to sell 110-120K pure US copies this week. With units from track sales and track streams included, it may do 115-125K in total US consumption.

The pure sales figure may be enough for #1 on the Billboard Top Album Sales chart. The consumption figure will likely position “Egypt Station” at #2 on the Billboard 200; Eminem’s “Kamikaze” is expected to repeat at #1 on that chart.
