Khalid & Normani’s “Love Lies” is celebrating its 28th week on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

It is also celebrating a new peak on the listing. Up two places, the song earns #9.

This week marks the song’s first visit to the Top 10.

Khalid and Normani both scored one previous Top 10 hit, but never as the named lead artist. Khalid entered the region as a featured act on Logic’s “1-800-273-8255” (also featuring Alessia Cara), while Normani hit the Top 5 as part of Fifth Harmony’s “Work From Home (featuring Ty Dolla $ign).”

The Hot 100 ranks songs based on combined activity from sales, streams and radio airplay. “Love Lies” is a solid performer in all three categories. It appears at #5 on this week’s Radio Songs chart, #16 on this week’s Digital Song Sales chart and #31 on this week’s Streaming Songs chart.
