Post Malone’s “Better Now,” which was #2 last week, improves to #1 on this week’s Mediabase pop radio airplay chart.

Played ~19,116 times during the August 26-September 1 tracking period (+580), “Better Now” seizes the throne from Maroon 5’s “Girls Like You (featuring Cardi B).” Credited with ~18,457 spins (-403), “Girls Like You” falls to #2 after spending five weeks in the pinnacle position.

“Better Now” follows “Psycho (featuring Ty Dolla $ign)” in becoming Post Malone’s second pop radio #1.

Spun ~17,804 times during the tracking week (-1,187), Khalid x Normani’s “Love Lies” spends another week at #3.

Cardi B, Bad Bunny & J Balvin’s “I Like It” and Selena Gomez’s “Back To You” are also steady this week. The former holds at #4 with ~15,911 spins (+136), while the latter stays at #5 with ~14,409 (+699).
