While Maroon 5’s “Girls Like You (featuring Cardi B)” cedes its throne at pop radio, it remains the top song at hot adult contemporary.

Played 6,951 times during the August 26-September 1 tracking period (+22), “Girls Like You” tops a fifth consecutive edition of the Mediabase Hot AC radio chart.

Its closest competition again comes from Taylor Swift’s “Delicate.” The former #1 holds at #2 with 5,700 plays (+6).

Up one place, Ariana Grande’s “no tears left to cry” earns #3 with 5,107 spins (+2). Weezer’s “Africa” climbs one spot to #4 with 5,054 (+191), while a play count of 4,947 (-451) brings Macklemore’s “Good Old Days (featuring Kesha)” down two spots to #5.
