Last week, Jason Aldean’s “Drowns The Whiskey (featuring Miranda Lambert)” reached #1 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart.

This week, it ascends to #1 on the Mediabase country listing.

Up three places, the superstar collaboration seizes the throne from Morgan Evans’ “Kiss Somebody.” That song sinks to #10 this week.

Not simply the leader in chart points, “Drowns The Whiskey” ranks as the Mediabase country panel’s most played and most heard song for the August 19-25 tracking period. It received ~8,476 spins (+972) and ~53.521 million audience impressions.

Up two places, Thomas Rhett’s “Life Changes” takes #2 on this week’s chart. Luke Bryan’s “Sunrise, Sunburn, Sunset” holds at #3, while Old Dominion’s “Hotel Key” jumps four spots to #4.

Dylan Scott’s “Hooked” concurrently rises two places to #5.
