“The Champion (featuring Ludacris),” Carrie Underwood’s 2018 Super Bowl anthem, just received a certification from the RIAA.

The entity awarded a gold certification on August 21, 2018. The honor confirms 500,000 in US units. Each unit is equal to 1 paid download or 150 streams.

“The Champion” sold well during the NFL playoffs, vaulting into the upper reaches of the US iTunes sales chart on several occasions.

The sales performance helped “The Champion” reach a peak of #47 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart despite minimal support at radio.
