Weezer’s “Africa,” Logic & Ryan Tedder’s “One Day” Enter Top 55 At Pop Radio

“Africa” and “One Day” are on the rise at pop radio.

A multi-format offering, Weezer’s cover of “Africa” is beginning to take flight at pop radio. It officially enters the format’s Top 55 this week.

Logic’s “One Day (featuring Ryan Tedder)” also earns a Top 55 position.

Played 370 times during the July 29-August 4 tracking period, “Africa” ranks as the Mediabase pop panel’s #52 song. It was #59 last week.

“One Day” concurrently rises fifteen places to #55. It received 302 spins.

“Africa,” which is also #1 at alternative radio and #11 at hot adult contemporary radio, received tracking period airplay from 37 Mediabase-monitored pop stations. Seventy-nine such stations played “One Day.”
