Post Malone’s “Better Now,” Cardi B’s “I Like It” Reach Top 5 At Pop Radio

Post Malone’s hit single “Better Now” and Cardi B, Bad Bunny & J Balvin’s “I Like” it rocket into the Top 5 on this week’s Mediabase pop radio airplay chart.

“Better Now” soars five places to #2, while “I Like It” ascends three spots to #5.

“Better Now” received ~14,656 spins during the July 29-August 4 tracking period, topping last week’s mark by a whopping 2,416 spins. Only DJ Khaled’s new “No Brainer (featuring Justin Bieber, Chance The Rapper & Quavo)” enjoyed a greater gain (+3,354).

“I Like It” meanwhile posted a tracking period play count of ~13,142 (+1,391).

— Both songs are also charting at rhythmic radio; “I Like It” is #2 on the rhythmic chart after a multi-week stint at #1, while “Better Now” is up to #3.

“I Like It” is also a former #1 at urban radio, while “Better Now” is charting at hot adult contemporary.
