After delivering promising early numbers, ABC’s “Quantico” settled into a rather modest ratings territory. The second and third seasons delivered particularly soft live+same-day viewership numbers.

It nonetheless maintained passionate fan support and buzz throughout its run. It, moreover, helped to substantially raise star Priyanka Chopra’s profile with American audiences.

Moments before Friday’s series finale came to a close, Chopra Tweeted her thoughts on getting to play lead character Alex Parrish.

“As the season ends, I am saying goodbye to Alex Parrish,” wrote Chopra. “As you’ll see, her story will come full circle…and that is the best feeling as an actor.

“Bringing Alex to life has challenged me physically and emotionally, but even more significant it has (I hope) cracked the door open for female talent and women of color to play leading ladies. Thank you for opening your homes and hearts to me every week! Thank you to the cast and crew of #Quantico for being such an amazing team to work with, for all the memories that I will cherish…memories of laughter, of learning new things, of making friends for life. It was a pleasure working with each and every one of you, and I look forward to crossing paths again!”

Chopra also shared some photos from her time on the show.

ABC aired a total of fifty-seven “Quantico” episodes across three seasons. The show initially aired on Sunday nights, but later moved to Mondays, then Thursdays, and ultimately settled into a Friday night timeslot.
