It may not have launched until mid-day, but DJ Khaled’s “No Brainer (featuring Justin Bieber, Chance The Rapper & Quavo)” still garnered ample opening day airplay at pop and rhythmic radio.
Benefiting from “on the hour” promotions from iHeart stations and the enthusiasm one would expect for such a collaboration, “No Brainer” closed Friday with 898 spins at pop radio. It meanwhile received 317 spins at the rhythmic format.
The pop play count positions “No Brainer” at #40 on the Mediabase building chart, which ranks songs based on airplay for the first six days of the July 22-28 tracking period. The song grabs #47 on the rhythmic listing.
While it does not yet rank within the format’s Top 50, “No Brainer” also had a big day at urban radio.
