Anitta’s “Medicina” Debuts At #12 On Global YouTube Music Videos Chart

The official music video for Anitta’s “Medicina” predictably had a big opening week on YouTube.

Credited with 25.9 million global views during the July 20-26 tracking period, “Medicina” takes #12 on the Global YouTube Music Videos Chart.

It is second among new entries to the chart; only Romeo Santos’ “Centavito” (30.7 million, #7 overall) debuts higher**.

“Medicina” meanwhile debuts at #21 on the Global YouTube Songs Chart. That chart accounts for views on select user-generated content as well as official uploads.

As that chart credits “Medicina” with 26.1 million total views, it is clear the music video generated the lion’s share of activity.

**Editor’s Note: For whatever reason, YouTube is not counting 6ix9ine, Nicki Minaj & Murda Beatz’ “FEFE” as an official music video. If it had been, the video surely would have been the week’s top debut.
