Childish Gambino Joins iHeart Festival; New Song “Summertime Magic” Heading To Radio

Wednesday brought big news regarding Childish Gambino.

By 9:45AM ET Wednesday, several major news stories had emerged in the world of Childish Gambino.

The day began with the artist releasing a “Summer Pack” of new songs: “Summertime Magic” and “Feels Like Summer.”

“Summertime Magic” will be heading to radio as an official single. It will impact the rhythmic format this coming week, before officially going for pop radio adds on July 31.

Along with the new music, Gambino also landed a high-profile concert gig. iHeartRadio confirms that the artist will be performing at the 2018 iHeartRadio Music Festival.

Taking place September 21-22, the main stage will also feature Justin Timberlake, Fleetwood Mac, Jack White, Carrie Underwood, Mariah Carey, Imagine Dragons, Jason Aldean, Sam Smith, Luke Bryan, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Panic! At The Disco, Kelly Clarkson, Shawn Mendes, Kygo, Rae Sremmurd and Logic.
